Travel Diary- Mexico city

Hi everyone! Welcome back to another travel diary. I’m so happy to share with you some of the pictures of my trip to Mexico City. We stayed near the Zocalo in a cute little hotel with a great view.

We enjoyed long walks, plenty of museums (most of them free), and Amazing food!  It was my first time there so I enjoyed it as much as I could.

One thing that I loved about the city was its diversity; people from all over the world, and different types of food. I couldn’t believe the amount of people on the streets, every day at any time, it was a little overwhelming but I also enjoyed the adventure.  One of my favorite parts of the trip was going to Teotihuacan, those pyramids are surreal!! Oh and also that this City is full of color!!

Travel Diary #2

 Hi everyone!

I’m glad to be back, I’ve had some crazy couple of weeks and just got back from Mexico City! (I’ll post that in a couple of days).

This is the second and last part of my trip to Monterrey, Mexico.

This crepes called KEPACREPA are delicious and my favorite one (as always) is the banana- nutella!

La Postreria 77, is one of my new favorite places. I’ve heard a lot of it on Facebook and my mom told me about it. I had some chilaquiles which were pretty tasty and a corn bread slice. The corn bread was my favorite thing besides the atmosphere! Had such a great time with my mom and aunt. I almost forgot, the Chai Tea was one of the best ones I’ve ever tasted.

The Nada is a cool coffee shop, from the outside seems like any other house but behind their red door you can find a lot of cool details. Every room has couches, coffee tables and even rugs with accent pillows so you can sit on them and have a great time. They created a good atmosphere and have tasty food. Check it out!

Bread is another cute little place to give a try! Their muffins are awesome I had the mango one and my brother the one with blueberry (SO tasty). The coffee in the picture is from La Nacional which is located next to them.

I noticed that in Monterrey are a bunch of new coffee shops and little restaurants (which I love) that are worth trying.

Hope you enjoy this post and thanks for reading us!

Travel Diary #1

Hi everyone, it’s been so long since our last post but we are so happy to be back!

Three weeks ago I went to Monterrey, Mexico; for the first time since I got married. It was so exciting to be back, I missed my family and friends so much.  I also missed Mexican food, so bad! Lol.  As you can see on my pictures there is a lot of food, and I enjoyed it as much as I could.

I ate fish two days in a row and it was really good! I enjoyed it even more because I went with my mom.

This place called “Las tapas de arriba” is awesome, loved the decoration and their coffee.  It is perfect to get some homework done or a relaxed evening with friends. If you are from Monterrey or planning on visiting you should give it a try.

This new place called “Llena tu loko”  is so different to anything I’ve ever tasted. There are more than 100 things you can put on your cup and top it off with chamoy, that makes it extra spicy and crazy!

I also visited my grandparents and enjoyed it a lot; my grandma is always prepared to receive us with cinnamon tea,  freshly baked bread, and coffee (for my dad). I am so blessed to have them.

This “quesadilla” was awesome, it had cheese and chicken. It was so good that I can’t even describe it! My dad also visited, we enjoyed this breakfast so much and later that day we went to a baseball game.

This is the first part of my trip and I am excited to show you more pictures. If you want to visit Mexico I totally recommend Monterrey; it is a beautiful city, has really cute coffee shops, and delicious food.

ABOUT US.

Hi everyone,

Our names are Priscila Leboreiro and Priscila Guerrero, we are really good friends that happened to meet through our husbands that happen to be best friends.

We are both Mexicans, but thanks to destiny live in Dallas, Tx. and since none of us have family here, it was easy to become close friends.  Even though we were born and raised in different parts of Mexico, we share the same values, passion for traveling and discovering new cozy places to enjoy a good cup of coffee, handcrafting, cooking, baking, and finding new ways to become better women, and the best way to do it is having such a good partner in crime. Lol.

A couple of days ago we were talking about how we could join all these things together and being able to share it with all the amazing women out there. That’s how this lifestyle blog came to life. The purpose of this blog is to share our life experiences as newlyweds, tips and tricks for your daily lives, as well as easy recipes, restaurant and coffee shop reviews in DFW area, DIY’s, beauty hacks, share our travels, road trips and adventures.

We are planning to open our own shop; importing products from other countries and little towns and bringing them to all of you at accessible prices. We want you to be part of this process, that is why we are going to share each step of the way, and we will open our online shop.

We hope you enjoy every post, picture, review, recipe, every laugh and every tear. But specially that you can see us as your friends and that we all can create an awesome community.

Thanks for reading us!
